RoomRecord Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 May 2026

Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to RoomRecord, a rental inspection evidence app, App Clip, website, and related services provided by DAWNSIDE PTY LTD ("Dawnside", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using RoomRecord, you agree to these Terms.

Use of RoomRecord

RoomRecord helps renters capture rental inspection photos, notes, and reports. You are responsible for how you use the app, what information you capture, and what you choose to share with landlords, agents, property managers, tribunals, or anyone else.

No Legal Advice

RoomRecord is an evidence capture and report tool. It does not provide legal, tenancy, property, financial, or dispute resolution advice. We do not guarantee that a report, photo, note, or export will be accepted by a landlord, property manager, insurer, tribunal, court, or government agency. You should seek independent advice if you need help with your rights or obligations.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos, notes, transcripts, room names, and reports you create in RoomRecord. You give us permission to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content as needed to provide and improve RoomRecord.

You must make sure your content is lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and does not unnecessarily include other people's private information. You are responsible for getting any permission required before recording audio, taking photos, or sharing reports.

Accounts and App Clip Continuity

RoomRecord may use guest accounts and Sign in with Apple to support account linking, purchase access, and moving work from the App Clip to the full app. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and Apple account. You should keep your own copies of important reports and evidence.

Purchases and Subscriptions

RoomRecord may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and entitlement status may be managed by RevenueCat. Apple billing terms apply. Refund requests must be made through Apple unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Permissions

Some features require iOS permissions such as camera, microphone, speech recognition, and photo library save access. If you deny or revoke a permission, related features may not work.

Acceptable Use

You must not:
