Move-out photo report workflow
Last updated: 22 June 2026
RoomRecord helps you make a clean move-out photo report by keeping rooms, notes, timestamps, and PDF export in one workflow. This page is product guidance only, not legal, tenancy, financial, dispute resolution, or property advice.
1. Capture after the room is ready
Start the report when each room is ready to photograph. Use the room switcher to keep spaces separated, then capture wide photos before close-up details.
2. Follow a repeatable order
A repeatable order makes the report easier to review: Entry, Living, Kitchen, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Laundry, Outdoor areas, Garage, and Storage. Add custom rooms if your property has a different layout.
3. Add notes while the detail is fresh
Dictate or type short notes as you go. Good captions are plain and specific, such as the room name, surface, item, or area shown in the photo.
4. Check the report before sharing
Review the grouped evidence before exporting. Look for duplicated photos, photos in the wrong room, or notes that are too rough to read quickly.
5. Export one PDF
RoomRecord exports a timestamped PDF so the final record is one document instead of a scattered set of images and notes.
RoomRecord does not make claims about inspections, deposits, disputes, or third-party decisions. It is a tool for capture, organisation, and PDF reporting.
